I Just Opine

I have been blogging since 2008 and honestly, there are still words that seem unfamiliar to me. Like the Link Building, can I ask you this, is this similar to backlinking? Wehhhhh, I have been hearing this from many, yet I just shrugged, what for? All I knew is I blog, I write and I enjoy this. And then eventually, I realized this will help you increase your page’s traffic. I should have link my page to many correct?

August, and I need to renew my domain, it will be turning two next month and the disk space is almost full that I also need to upgrade, it makes my page loading slowly. As I was logging in my panel, I see the red disk, oh no, it should be green! Thanks to my fellow blogger who advised me not to upload pictures on my domain but use the other site, it helped! I transferred those big megabytes picture to that site and viola, I saved a lot of space, but not now I badly needed to request an additional disk space, otherwise, this will appear “Error Loading Page, error 404″, i don’t want this. Before this happens, I will contact **** right?

During one of the blogger’s event last June 16, I learned that one of my fellow bloggers and finalists had her laptop wrecked due to the accident caused by the falling ceiling fan, oopss I think it’s a wall fan. Anyway, she shared to me that the wall fan fell on top of her laptop that finally wrecked it and did not function anymore, so sad. She had her fingers stitched too as they were also affected by the falling fan.

Since she is a blogger, I know the feeling of losing an important property such that a laptop, it is very important in blogging, and I know she can’t live without it. Fortunately, she already has one now. Welcome to the blogging mode again

When I was just starting to blog two years ago, one of my purposes is to have something where I can express my thoughts and feelings, and I found this blogging. I don’t mind if this is open to public and readable to every one what I had on my mind was to express what I feel as if I am saying it to a person face to face. I find it facile expressing my feelings through writing rather than personally sharing it to a person.

As I was honing myself from this hobby, I learned that there are lots of things I need to know, such as the page rank, index, seo, backlinks and etc. I had no idea that updating your blog daily and gaining more readers and unique visitors will increase your page rank and that will have the advantage of engaging into internet marketing. HOW? Notice the ads flashing on my blog, that is one. Others are through paid posts. Having a good seo or search engine optimization - for others who’s not familiar with seo, it is the process of improving the volume or quality of traffic to a website or a webpage such as a blog through natural or unpaid search results, the theory is that, the earlier or the higher a site or blog appears in the search reults list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine. And now you will realize how important it is for your blog to have a good seo standing, this will enhance your internet marketing. I notice this, every time I search something, the first I click is the one listed first, so might as well work on improving your blog’s seo

I don’t know if mine has a good seo standing, it doesn’t matter anyway, so long as I always update this and able to express what I feel and share information to other people around. And I hope, this blog somehow inspire my readers. Some though is not inspiring, but I make sure that I have posts that are inspiring enough, sharing my opinions, it’s my blog theme anyway, to opine on a certain things about life

As I have noticed, many of my fellow bloggers are holding t0o many contest for their readers and other bloggers as well. And this is one of the ways to improve the blog’s rank, and it’s effective. I don’t know how they do it, but they are being sponsored by some companies or products. They are giving away products, goodies or items from that sponsors, gift cheques also are common. This could be indexed in the net for sure. I tried pdf search engine and found that this one is also helpful when you are searching for something.

 I have not tried making a contest for my readers, I don’t even think I have one though :-(  What I do is update my page every day, make sure I always have a post at least one, post about everything and anything under the sun.

If only I could also hold contests for my readers (hoping I have) to reach out for them ajejejeje it’s a nice and effective way anyway.

However, I have made a way of helping my reader, I posted some tips and advices about something like resume, finding a lob, basic blogging, and some other inspiring experiences I had. I think in these ways, I have reached them somehow.

I am keeping my fingers crossed, hoping that one day, I will be able to hold a blog contest or any online contest too To my fellow bloggers who already do this, congratulations and keep it up! I look up to you

I find it easy to edit, play and see what and how my blog will look like, I really love pink and blue combination of course with black. What I found hard is the header, hmmm, I tried experimenting and editing it many times, went on and off the original cartoon-like, tried the pink rounded-ribbony, the orange flower inserting the title, then went back to the original cartoon-lile character because all of those I have mentioned did not work and fit well. ANd then finally, after searching google with pink heart wallpaper, I got it, played many times, finally I have it. Hope it looks more enticing ajejeje like ice cream and cake, soooo yummy.

Finally I was able to edit the title of my posts too and have it forte font, and the title I Just Opine as MS…na-aah so oblivious, I need an excel to remind me what font I use. I feel like dancing in the stage, I did it without browsing any html codes and stylesheet editing book, I did it without the help of web designer!! I myself is a web designer now yahoooo!!! I am jumping with joy.. I can now share what I learn and know about stylesheet editing (wee) Thanks so much Ryan!! You are a big part of this success ahahaha, I called it success

Some writers or bloggers are tired of maintaining their blog, hence, they look for free blog hosting where they can write articles for free, and sometimes, they get paid for the articles they write.  A must try also is the Article Alley one of the free contents for your website or blog.

There are benefits gained in blogging though, you blo not just for the purpose of blogging but, you blog and write about anything interesting. Depending on the writers mood and interest. I blog about myself most of the time, about my encounter and fruitful living here on Earth. I blog what I feel. There are cases though that I blog current events and entertainment, it’s up to you what topic you are going to discuss. Others blog about foods, movies, music, entertainment, politics, religious and many others. You blog what you feel will satiate you and at the same time, will keep your readers informed.

Blogging is not just about writing, the enjoyment I experience with this hobby is that, I am able to meet new friends. It is very relaxing because whenever bloggers meet in an event, it’s really a stress-free time, no talking about problems, no talking about work, all those are left behind and talk about that day alone. Sometimes you can even ask information and tips from those experienced bloggers about blogging, they share it to the extent of what they know, they are not selfish though! No competition, you write with your free will.

I visited my lola (grandmother) last Sunday, I saw her suffering condition, she hardly stand, almost lying all day when we were there. I had to talk to her hours after hours, trying to comfort her. His medical condition is brought by her dotage, or should I say, her being old. But we still want her to survive her condition, I can feel she will. She has helped me a lot during my college days. I will never forget it We really love her. I always served her the food she was asking, orange to name one. But she was not able to finish it, and I am worried. She doesn’t look emaciated, she even has a stout face but thin body - in Pinoy term manas.

She was recently brought to the hospital and tested with pulse oximeter. An ultrasound was also performed. Hope she recuperates soon.

I have no choice but to delete it and remove from my sidebar. I am referring to Spott free link exchange. It is showing off some unwanted pictures on my blog creating a really bad impression. I was trying to find some ways to edit the sites showing and flashing off there but there is no option. I am afraid others like teeners would click on the bad image showing on that spott of mine and land into a lustful site, I really don’t want it to happen. So before anything bad happens, i initiated deleting it, no one will do it for me but only me.

I had no idea if that free exchange link really increased my viewers or my impression. I was unsure if that is really helpful.

Wheoa, and I have been receiving assignments from PPP, I was wishing this before, that my blog be approved so I can make paid posts for them. Yet it’s hard pala d it is not that easy, you need to monitor and always peep in your email to check whether new assignments have been given to you. You need to create posts or reviews right away because after three days and you unfortunately dd not finish the tasks, sorry, it will disappear like a bubble. Not only that, you also need to eck and visit sites where you registered your blog and see if there are available opportunities awaiting for you, you should reserve it right away and if not, mauunahan ka ng iba and the time that you decide to reserve it, the system will tell you, THE OPPORTUNITY HAS BEEN FULLY RESERVED. It requires monitoring from timeto time if you want to earn more through blogging.

For a working blogger like me, i find it hard to do all these. Of course I won’t let this hobby of mine interrupt or affect my job, so as much as possible i try not to do this while at work. After office when I got home, I continue surfing and doing my assignments, through my broadband and if luck permits, just sitting in MOA foodcourt and enjoying the free wifi. Unfortunately, charging isn’t allow here I only have two hours to surf, because I will be dead, my notebook will be dead.

And now, I am here, enjoying the MOA’s free wifi, but I only have less than an hour left. Should go home after that.

Yes, you read it right! I am an addict, I cannot shun doing my addictive act. I am very nostalgic if I haven’t done it a day. But I am not alone being addict here, it is hitherto, with todays technology where this addictive thing becomes cheaper and cheaper and accessible, seems like everybody knows how to be addict with it.

Am I writing too many addcit words here and make you puzzled? Does my post vague yet you cannot surmise what i’m trying to convey? I am talking about my addictiveness to internet. Yahoo mail, facebook, plurk, I Just Opine, The Epitome of Me, sponsored sites, nuffnang, google adsense, whoa, those are the sites that I visited most. I still am trying to explore more on blogsphere, trying to view and visit blogs of different bloggers to make myself visible in the web.

Enough of that, I am addict, how will I stop this rehab me….

I will keep on reiterating that one of my greatest hobbies and passions is writing (in an old way) and blogging (in our modern day). Old notebooks are kept in my home, and when I feel lonely and want to reminisce things that happened to me yore, I just need to search my baul and read on. Smiles painted in my face as I read and remember the things that I did before. I bet my parents and brothers already found it, and  I am pretty sure they know the secrets and emotions I wrote there.

Due to the influence and invasion of modern technology particularly of the internet, old way of diary is replaced by what we call blogging, easier, fun and online, where your posts and articles may be indexed in the internet. I am not sure though of the exact term, not that IT girl . As what I’ve written in one or two of my posts, I started blogging hosted by or in friendster. It served as my diversion, my diary.  I remember during those times that I already have five posts in that networking site, I told Jennifer Manliclic (now Miñoza) to read my articles, it was then that she advised me to blog, start blogging and earn from it. I followed her, so I registered in wordpress.com as honeydhynnes.wordpress.com. I started also to register in payperpost and Dneero, unfortunately, when I already was gaining a rank in this blogsite, wordpress warned me that they will suspend my account if I will not remove my PPP and Dneero - sponsored site. I did removed them, but I didn’t know why wordpress still kept on telling me that theor system sees that I still had PPP. Then came a time that I cannot log to my wordpress account anymore.

That is the reason why I have I Just Opine, I write what I feel, I write while inspired and inspire others as they read, I write from the heart. It is not perfect though, there are grammatical errors, some may be balderdash, I know it is, but I love the way how my mind goes and thinks.

The primary purpose why I blog is to divert my feelings and emotions as I really am not a loquacious and chatty person (in person), I find it easy to express what I feel through writing and blogging. Second to that is the earnings I will gain in my hobby and another is to have my name searcheable in the google and how I wish I have this mine searcheable also in all search engines..

I admire Ryan Joson for saying that “Yoko ko kasi ng pera usapan sa blogging kasi mawwala yung excitement at purpose ko kung bakit ako nagblog” , I salute her for telling me that. Nice one Ryan!

And I just want to defend myself why one of my purpose is to earn, because I really need to :-), I am really looking for a part-time job to eke my income and since I find it difficult to have one, I have this blogging in place. Double purpose, I earn minutely in my hobby.

Going back yesteryears, available advertising are radio, newspaper and television, which are still available. But with today’s technology, everyone, specifically students and professionals utilize computers most of the time. And with the growing numbers of people and networking sites, internet advertising as I said is born.

As you may notice, when you open a website, blinking ad banners, text ads are seen in every corner of a site, these are the advertisement. Owners of the website are being paid for every click made on those ads inside their web. Aside from cpc or cost per click, there is also the cpm or cost per meter wherein a website is being paid per impression, and lastly, the sponsored reviews or paid post – this applies particularly to a blog site. A blogger has to make a post or review about an article, product or website, with specific requirements followed. A blogger may or may not write a negative review but this also depends on the opportunity requirements. Most of the time, it requires positive ones though. A post amount or rate varies, depending on the website. Likewise, if your blog site has less impression, indexed pages and readership, you will most likely see less opportunity. But it’s no problem, you will then increase your page rank as you continue improving and updating your blog. Just be patient! So if you are not busy with corporate work, you may want to try having a part time job or work from home – online job.

The Digital Filipino Web Awards 2009 will happen sometime in October. Internet enthusiasts as well as bloggers are encouraged to nominate the best digital web and to Join the DigitalFilipino Club :-). They will have to choose from various categories, in which should meet the judging criteria. This will be my first time to participate in this online activity, and I will still have to learn important aspects before I choose my “BEST 3.” 

My 3 nominations would be the following;

1. Flair Candy - the reason why i nominate this is because aside from meeting the criteria as enumerated in the Digital Filipino Web Awards, i am amazed by the writing skills of the young lady behind this blog - Hanna Rikkah Villasis. I find her photos very appealing and i also admire her being a CPA, because like her, i am also an Accountant though not licensed. ( I took up BSC Management Accounting :-)  )

2. Yugatech - I nominate this site because of the popular search engine it has and numerous helpful articles to read on.

3. And lastly STRANGE FRUIT by Chico Garcia his blog is very interesting, i love the way he writes, i am regaled while reading his posts, i should have put him in No. 1, aside from being a DJ (and i haven’t heard him over the radio though), an excellent blogger and a good photographer, i love his photos!.

So those are my nominations. Added to that, i will also nominate my own site jejeje dhina-lieva.com why? because my blog is very deep, serious and you can feel the sincerity within, you can feel my emotion as i write
