This is a post to express my continued support to Catherine Loria who is currently competing in Sing! Singapore 2010. Not only Catherine Loria but the composer of the song she sings, One Heart, One Body One Soul, Mart Ilagan. Latest about her is she is gaining top votes and made it to be on top 1 on this singing contest. Yes, it is a voting-scheme and everyone of us is encouraged to keep on voting and let us help our fellow Filipino who brings honor to other country. Let us be proud that a young and teener girl represents us in Singapore who was also the 2008 WCOPA Grand Champion. Let us support Catherin Loria and Mr. Mart Ilagan.

Hello world and hello Philippines! Naks, those were the lines of PBB hosts. I am proud to announce that the talented teenager from our town Tiaong, Quezon (Brgy. Lusacan) made it to Top 1 in Singapore Search Singing Contest. I heard it also this morning when I attended the mass from Blessed Virgin Mary Queen of the World (BVMQW). No doubt, I personally heard her great singing voice, had a goose bump that time, admired her amazing rendition of Stand Up For Love at LNHS. Ang layo na ng narating nya for me! And I am proud that she has become such, I admire her perseverance of reaching her dreams, I admire her diligence of using her singing talent in the best possible ways – to show to the world how great Filipinos are!
She was the Grand Champion of 2008 World Championship of Performing Arts!
She is Catherine Loria, I am deeply proud of her. We are proud of the honor she is bringing to the Philippines, showcasing her talent around the world is indeed worth taking our pride! One of the country’s prides Catherine Loria.

So many great singers we adore, great singing voices that wreck our eardrums, blowing off the roofs of the concert halls and auditoriums. Amazing talents everywhere, who would we choose?
Today, I admire Beyonce Knowles super dooper as in, till my veins cut their ways, nope but seriously, I really like her voice, the way she sings, dresses up, dances everything else about her. I am looking after her. Her name is the first one in my list, and I don’t know yet who follows in, she’s my no. 1. Including in my list are Catherine Loria who’ll be launching her very first album in Singapore and later here in the Philippines (guys watch out for that and be regaled by her lovely voice). Charice of course and dhina dhina dhina… Wheow, i don’t think you know her… Those are the singers i really admire…

Of course, i will not forget our town’s and country’s pride, Katkat or Catherine Loria, born in Lusacan Tiaong, Quezon. She is 14 years old and a sophomore student of Lusacan National High School, the same school I attended to. She is now the 2008 Grand Champion for the World Championship of Performing Arts. Like many singers, Katkat also joined numerous singing contest before her moment rapped. And now, let’s see her future, and hope that someday, she’ll also be famous (she is now!). Goodluck and we wish you great success!!
Listen to her voice, the first one, her winning piece “I Believe I Can Fly” and the second “Stand Up for Love” the same song she sang when i attended the Recognition Day wherein i was the Guest Speaker of LNHS last March 24, 2008, and there, i witnessed how great she is as a singer..
